Easter Fundraiser 2021

There are two activities taking place for fundraising for Painswick Playgroup for Easter 2021.

  1. Buy one of our wooden hanging egg decorations and decorate it however you fancy. Prizes for all age groups (even adults!)
  2. Sharon Andrews from the Playgroup staff will be shaving (and letting the children paint) her head on Monday 19th April. You can sponsor her at the link below.

Easter Egg competition – You can purchase your egg to decorate here if you have one or more children at Painswick Playgroup or The Croft School.

Eggs must be purchased before the end of Wednesday 31st March if you want them to be sent home with your child on Thursday 1st April, the last day of term.

Otherwise, you can buy eggs in person at Painswick Pharmacy throughout the easter holiday.

You can sponsor Sharron’s head shave online here at any time.

Painswick Playgroup is situated in the heart of the Gloucestershire village of Painswick. We exist to provide a safe, stimulating environment for young children. We have a dedicated team of five members of staff, all mums themselves, who have worked closely together for many years to make our playgroup the happy place it is today.

We are a community playgroup, which means we not only provide care for pre-school aged children, we also exist for children’s parents and carers to meet and share experiences with other families within the community. We are run as a charity by a parent- and carer-led Committee.

A typical day at Playgroup sees the children playing with and taking part in a wide range of resources and activities that can easily be adapted to meet individual needs. There are regular breaks where snacks and drinks are provided, and there are opportunities to play in our garden daily (weather permitting!). We are also very lucky to have close links with The Croft Primary School, enabling us to use their playground and field.

Have a look around our website to find out more about us, and please do contact us if you have any questions.
